Hidden Gem

Come back next week for another wallpaper! As previously mentioned, there will be a total of 10 wallpapers, and this is already week 3. On another note, since this is the last post of 2013, I'd like to wish everyone a very happy new year, and I sincerely hope that you find joy in the coming year. iPhone 4 wallpapers are very much a thing of personal preference. Not everyone wants their iPhone 4 to look like a candy bar and, equally not everyone wants theirs to look like something more suited to space travel. Fortunately there is a huge choice of wallpapers, either self produced or purchased. If you decide to purchase wallpapers it is certainly best to shop around. Personally I would avoid buying them directly from the web, there are a number of apps available from the app store and these will have passed muster with Apple.

iPhone 4 wallpapers are now available that will show off the iPhone 4 and its Retina Display Support at it's absolute best. These are the sort of wallpapers I would go for but be warned, the choice is vast!

Generally, expect to pay a little for the apps, but certainly no more than 59 pence. These apps will have a nominal selection of iPhone 4 wallpapers immediately available for use, but as a rule a quick download is the norm. The apps generally set the wallpapers in different sub sections so it is well worth having a mental picture of what you are looking for and sticking to that idea, that is unless you have plenty of spare time on your hands.

Once you have selected your iPhone 4 wallpapers they will be downloaded to your camera roll. Simply do the following, select settings>select wallpaper>select Camera roll or the relevant album>select the iPhone 4 wallpaper you have chosen>tap the set button>then you can select to have your iPhone 4 wallpapers set as Lock Screen, Home Screen or both.

Don't forget you can use your own images if you really want to personalise your phone with your own wallpapers. You can take photos or, often overlooked, use screen shots. I try and use programs that support the iPhone 4,s Retina Display Support for my screen shots. All you have to do is hold down the home and sleep buttons simultaneously until you see the screen flash and hear the camera shutter sound. These images are useable following the previously mentioned sequence.

Overall iPhone 4 wallpapers are a lot of fun. I like to keep mine the same for a fair length of time, others may choose to use different wallpapers on a weekly basis, but as they say, the choice is yours.

Best thing about wallpapers is that whenever you get bored of your actual one you can change it in a matter of seconds. As wallpapers even reflect the user's mood, some tend to change them very often, and why shouldn't they when there's a great variety to choose from? You can even find desktop wallpapers for special occasions like Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day and the list goes on.

It's very easy and fast to change your wallpaper, you just have to know your screen resolution, find a website that offers this kind of services and start downloading. Your wallpaper is the first thing you see when you turn on your computer so why not starting your day in a wonderful way? You may even use a picture of your own with family and friends or whatever makes you happy to put it on your desktop as a wallpaper. In this way, whenever you look at it, you will be reminded about the important things in your life.

I really like this wallpaper. It's a really nice combination of greens, blues, and browns, and the photo was taken at the Botanic Gardens, Singapore (you have to know where to look for great photos).
