Hello! I know I've been MIA for the past few months, and I guess I'll just have to keep apologising for a long time, as this hiatus probably won't be the only one (exams and tests just keep coming >.<). 

As Singapore is commemorating its 47th National Day pretty soon on the 9th of August, I've made some exclusive uniquely Singaporean wallpapers for the occasion. These are pretty simple, and I like them quite a lot. It seems like I've reverted to my amateur-ish work, but I really wanted to create a minimalist design that somehow resounds with the public, and still remains fun and formal at the same time. Hence, these designs seemed most fitting.

Meanwhile, I'm trying my best to stop these random long pauses between wallpapers. As always, thank you for your everlasting support! It's you guys who keep my passion strong.

As promised, here's another wallpaper for the month of April, 2012. I'm sorry it's a little late... In fact there's only half a month left. On the bright side, there's a lower chance of you getting bored with it even before the month is through.

This month's wallpaper is modelled after a familiar fairytale – The Tortoise and the Hare, or whatever you learnt it as. It's simple: slow and steady wins the race, constant progress gets you where you want to go etc. A simple lesson from childhood, yet overlooked by so many of us. I hope this month's wallpaper reminds everyone that as long as you give your very best, anything is achievable – of course, you must take that first step and continue marching on.

I know it's been a while, and there's been a serious lack of wallpapers posted in recent months. Which is why I put a little extra effort into this one!

The newest wallpaper features a quote by Og Mandino, and I find it especially motivating. There's a lot to learn in this world, and there are a number of challenges to face. 

I hand-drew the rose in this wallpaper, and one of the versions has a date added to it. I've decided to do a monthly quote thing – meaning new wallpapers every month! As long as I have the time to do this. If not, I'll make up for it the next month. 

I know some people may find the date at the top an eyesore – which is why there are two versions of this – one with a month, and one without. This is also partly because it's already mid-March... Use the one you prefer, as long as it provides a little motivation to your day. :)
